How to Flash Stock Rom On Your Mediatek (MTK) Smartphone with SPflash tool
Sp flash tools can be used to flash stock / custom rom which has scatter file. it comes in handy when trying to unbrick an mtk device. it can also be used to restore your mtk backup.
What you need:
Procedure:
=> download and install Vcom drivers if you don't have it already.
=> download and extract spflashtool from the link provided above.
=> Open flash_tool.exe
=> Click on scatter loading.
=> Locate your scatter file and click open. its a text file and it should be found inside the rom folder you want to flash.
=> Power off your device and remove the battery(if your battery is removable)
=> Click on the download button (make sure you uncheck the preloader).
=> Now connect your phone to the pc(without battery) then insert your battery. (for device with non removable battery, just turn off your phone and connect it to your PC).
=> Once the process is completed you will see a green circle.
=> now you can disconnect your device, remove and re insert the battery, then power it on.
congratulations!! you have just successfully flashed your ROM.

DeleteThanks... bro, I flash my infinix x551 2gb ram and 16gb rom with lollipop of infinix x551 1gb ram and 16gb rom .. after the flashing the phone never came up again .. I have done all manner of thing .. it refuses to power on again.. if I pluck it with system it will be detected by making a sound .. boss help me out pls

DeleteJust leave the phone for maybe about hours for the battery to die off completely then flash the right firmware.

ReplyDeleteHi Ridwan, please I need your help asap. My infinix zero 2 got hardbricked after I switched it off and tried putting it back on, wouldn't come on at all since then. I tried using sp flash tool v5.1436 to flash the recovery but kept getting an error message (8406) saying "invalid flash memory". I don't know what to do next. Sorry I had to put the request on this thread since I couldn't find any related topic. Please help me.
