Airtel 1.5GB Night Plan Has Been Increased From N50 To N200

Roughly about a week ago, airtel gave most of its users the shocker of their life when they reduced their social plan data cap by 90%. Everyone who subscribed were shocked as they were given just 2000mb instead of the usual 20gb.
Now Airtel has just done something similar to their night plan.

Most of those who tried to subscribe for the Airtel 1.5gb night plan yesterday faced a lot of difficulty as all attempt to subscribe for the plan proved abortive. And when they called the customer care service, they were actually told that the priced has been quadrupled from the usual N50 to N200 for the same 1.5gb.

I don't know if this is due to the economy or just a change in Airtel's policy. Although the price of the 500mb plan is still N25 but I noticed that the auto renew service wasn't working. This might probably have been a network issue or an attempt by Airtel to stop users from re subscribing.

But even at this new rate, this plan still falls on the cheaper side compared to the etisalat N200 for 1gb. Now the ball is in your court, you can either settle for the MTN 500mb at N25, Airtel 500mb at N25, the new Airtel 1.5gb at N200 or the etisalat 1Gb for N200.
