It's no more news that Nokia is finally back to the smartphone market. Although everyone was expecting a high end smartphone for a comeback but Nokia decided to start with a pretty cheap mid range smartphone with some really good specs.

Nokia 6 is Nokia's first smartphone to be fully powered by android OS. Unfortunately this phone is exclusive to JD.com in China only. Which means if you are planning to get this smartphone and you don't live in china, then that might never happen. 

As I said earlier the new Nokia 6 is actually a mid range smartphone with pretty common specs, but in this post I will just highlight the top 5 features of this phone.

Android 7.0 Nougat

One of the easily noticeable feature of the Nokia 6 is that it runs fully on android operating system and not just any android OS but the recently released android 7.0 Nougat.

This means that the device will come loaded with some latest features, such as direct reply from notifications, new settings page, multi-window view, battery saving Doze mode amongst others.

4GB OF RAM

Ofcourse, 4GB of RAM is not really a big deal as we have smartphones like the OnePlus 3T with 6GB of RAM and Asus working on an 8 GB RAM smartphone. But having up to 4GB of RAM on a regular midrange smartphone is pretty huge as most smartphone manufacturers would have settled for a 3GB RAM at that price range.

64GB OF Expandable Internal Storage

What beats the feeling of you getting up to 64GB of internal storage on a very affordable smartphone like the Nokia 6, when some more expensive smarphones offers just 32GB of storage with a much smaller RAM. It even gets better when you realize that you can expand the storage with up to 256GB of micro sdcard.

Stereo Speakers 

I don't think anyone would have expected the Nokia 6 to come with premium stereo speakers. But the fact that Nokia decided to add it makes it a notable mention.

The Nokia 6 features built-in power amplifier chip with Dolby Atmos which powers its dual speaker system.

3000Mah Battery

This isn't a pretty massive battery capacity as we have smartphones offering more than double of that, but according to the company, the 3000mah battery of the Nokia 6 can deliver a maximum standby time of 32 days, a 3G talk-time of 18 hours, and a music playback time of 22 hours. That isn't bad, if you ask me.

So guys, as I said earlier, the Nokia 6 is exclusively available to the Chinese market and it goes for a starting price of CNY 1699 which is Approximately Rs 17,000 in India currency, $245 and about N90,000 in Nigeria currency.
