Vernee Apollo 2 With Helio X30 Chipset, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Storage to be Unveiled at MWC 2017
While a lot of smarphone lovers and tech fricks might be eager for the unveiling of the LG G6 at the MWC 2017 event that is going to take place at the end of this month, there are tons of other phone manufacturers that might steal the show on that day and one of them is the rumoured Vernee Apollo 2.
Vernee is a pretty new Shenzhen based smartphone manufacturer that started up February of 2016. The company made an announcement at the CES event which took place last month that it will be unveiling a new smartphone which will be powered by the new Mediatek Helio X30 chipset at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017.
A new leak just recently emerged on Twitter and it gives us a lot more details on what we should be expecting from the upcoming Apollo 2. The leak was tweeted by Ronald Quandt, and the leak image looks like an official marketing material.
The Apollo 2 which is the successor to the Vernee Apollo is going to be the first smartphone in the world to be powered by the new Helio X30 chipset.
The device which reportedly ships with a Quad HD display will come in two memory configurations - The lower one will come with a 6 GB of RAM and a 64 GB of internal storage while the more expensive one will come with a massive 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
There is no information on other features of the phone or the pricing, but it's expected to be pretty affordable as that is a very common practice among Mediatek devices. Let's just wait for the official unveiling which will take place in less than two weeks time.
