Xiaomi MI 6 Announced With 6GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage - Full Specifications and Price

The wait is finally over as Xiaomi has officially announced the long awaited Xiaomi MI 6. The device which was announced by Xiaomi's founder and CEO Lei Jun features a 5.15-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
The Xiaomi MI 6 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with an octa-core 2.45 GHz processor and the Adreno 540 GPU. It also comes with a 6GB RAM and an internal storage of 64GB and 128GB.

Aside the fact that the Snapdragon 835 chipset is 25% more battery efficient compared to the Snapdragon 820, the Mi 6 comes with a pretty fair 3350mah battery which guarantees an outstanding battery life.
The device features a dual rear camera setup with a 12mp wide angle camera and also a 12mp front facing camera. Xiaomi has decided to kill the 3.5mm headphone jack on the new Mi6, but the device will feature stereo speakers. The phone will come with the regular fingerprint scanner embedded in home button, a type C USB port and runs on the latest android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 will be available in Black, White and Blue with two special editions which are the Silver and ceramic edition with 18K gold camera rims. The device measures 7.45mm thick, and is splash-resistant.

The starting price of the phone is around $363 USD for the model with 64GB internal storage while the unit with 128GB of internal storage will go for around $421 USD, and the Ceramic edition is priced at around $436 USD. The Xiaomi Mi 6 will be released on April 28th at Mi.com and and in all 72 Mi Home stores in China. A global release will be announced at a later date.
