Xiaomi Mi Max has Started Receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat Update

Finally, Xiaomi has started rolling out the official Nougat update to the xiaomi Mi max users. The device which was launched last year came with Android 6 marshmallow straight out of the box and it's also one of the first smartphones to introduce the bezeless display.

Even though the official update is just been released, the beta users have already been enjoying the early version of the Nougat for quite sometime now. The new update which is based on the global MIUI 8.5.1.0 brings a lot of new features and improvements which includes a better and more efficient COU allocation strategy, new toggles for common settings in search results, as well as a new option for hiding the content of notifications on lock screen.

The update comes with the latest May security patch as well as lots of improvements and optimizations. Unfortunately, this update is only available to the 3GB version of the xiaomi Mi max, so if you happen to own the prime version then you might have to wait a little bit longer for your own update.
