Motorola Moto X play starts receiving Android 7.1.1 Nougat Update

Back in June last year, Motorola confirmed that it's mid range smartphone which is the Moto X okay will be updated to Android 7.1.1 Nougat but the date and details were not revealed.

Now it looks like Motorola has already started rolling out the Android 7.1.1 nougat update to the Moto X play users. The problem here is that the new major update is not currently available in all regions except for a few countries like Brazil but it's expected to roll out to all countries soon. 

The new update also comes with one of the latest Google's Android security patch, but the exact version wasn't actually mentioned in the change log.

For those who don't know, the Motorola Moto X play is over two years old already which means that users might not be getting any other major update, if you still haven't received the update notification yet , then click on  “Software update” button.
