Official List of Motorola Smartphones to Receive the Android 8 Oreo Update

It's no more news that Google has released it's latest Android version which is the Android 8 Oreo. Although some Google devices such as some Nexus, pixel have already started receiving the updates, other brands are yet to roll out the update to their devices.

Nokia officially announced about a week ago that all of its current HMD Android powered devices will receive the Oreo update later this year. Now Motorola has also release the full list of it's devices that will be receiving the update.

Below is the full list of Motorola Android devices that are eligible for the Oreo Update.

List of Motorola Smartphones to Receive the Oreo Update

Moto Z,

Moto Z Droid,

Moto Z Force Droid,

Moto Z Play,

Moto Z Play Droid,

Moto Z2 Play,

Moto Z2 Force Edition,

Moto X4,

Moto G5,

Moto G5 Plus,

Moto G5S,

Moto G5S Plus.

Unfortunately, no Moto G4, Moto C or Moto E series made it to the list. So this means no Oreo update for those using the mid-range Motorola smartphones.

At the moment, no official date has been announced for the update but we expect it to start rolling out later this year or early next year.
