Xiaomi Mi 7 Expected to feature all-screen bezeless design, 6-inch AMOLED display and Snapdragon 845 chipset
News are already going round on what to expect from Xiaomi's next flagship smartphone which is the Mi 7. Base on the reports we have, the upcoming device is expected to be something big and also a huge step up from Xiaomi's previous flagship devices in many ways.
First, the upcoming Mi 7 is expected to feature an all screen bezeless display. Most of us actually expected Xiaomi to include this in the Mi6 since it was already available on the Xiaomi Mi Mix and Mi Mix 2 but I guess Xiaomi has a reason for delaying it until now.
Also, if you are conversant with Xiaomi then you already know by now that the company is fond of using IPS display on both thier midrange and high end smartphones, but it looks like that is about to change on the Mi 7 as it's rumoured to feature a 6-inch Samsung-made AMOLED screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
Since the Mi7 is expected to feature an all screen display, then the position of the Fingerprint scanner will have to be moved to the back of the phone just like you have it on the Mi Mix and Mi Mix 2.
Base on reports, the Xiaomi Mi 7 is also expected to be powered by Snapdragon's current most powerful chipset which is the Snapdragon 845 coupled with a 6GB of RAM. It will also come with the same 3,350 Mah battery spotted on its predecessor, the Mi6.
The main camera is said to feature a pair of 16MP sensors, and at least one of them will have an aperture size of F/1.7.
In terms of price, the Mi 7 is expected to start at around CNY 2,699 in China which is about $405 and although there is no news on the launch date yet, we expect to be in the late Q1 or early Q2, which is around March or April of next year.
Note that the above listed specs and features is based on reports we have at the moment and not official yet, but we will surely keep you guys updated when anything comes up.
