LG G6 Users have Started receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo Beta Update in China

Just a day after rolling out the stable version of the Android 8 Oreo update to LG V30 users in South Korea, the Korean phone manufacturer has started pushing out the Beta version of the Android 8 Oreo to LG G6 users in China via OTA.

The new update comes with some new android Oreo built in features like the picture-in-picture which allows users to watch video while the app is running in the background. It also comes with some other new features like advanced app shortcuts, a new settings screen, adoptive icons, the capability to snooze notifications from certain apps, and many more.

At the moment, we still don't know for sure If LG will eventually roll out the Oreo beta update to LG G6 users in other regions or if it will simply wait for the stable version.
