Huawei Honor View 10 Receives New Update with Face Unlock and Many New Features

Since Apple introduced the Face ID unlock feature on its iPhone X, many android smartphone manufacturers have been promoting their own alternative which is the Face Unlock. OnePlus introduced the Face Unlock on its OnePlus 5t and has since then rolled it over to the OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 3 as well as the OnePlus 3t. Now Huawei has just joined in with its Honor View 10.

The Huawei Honor View 10 was launched about a month ago and it was shipped with the latest EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android 8 Oreo. Now, Huawei has already started rolling out a new update for this device and one of the most important newly added feature is the Face Unlock. With this, Honor View 10 users will now be able to unlock thier smartphone with the Face Unlock option.

Aside the Face Unlock, the new update also comes with some newly added features and improvements such as the Smart Rotate which allows the phone to adjust the orientation according to the user's face, it also comes with new Intelligent Screen On function which is supposed to detect the user's eyes and suspend the screen timeout or dim triggers. The OTA update should be rolled out to all Honor View 10 device by January 24.
