LG Announces the World’s First 88-inch OLED TV with 8K Display
It's the beginning of a new year and LG has already kicked it off with a new innovation. The company has just announced the world’s first 88-inch TV with a one of a kind 8K OLED display which is double of the 4k we are used to. The newly announced TV has a stunning resolution of 7680×4320 pixels which are 33 million pixels.
At the moment, the largest OLED screen size TV available in the marketplace has 77 inches, with just 4K display. The new LG's TV is however offering an 88-inch display along with the OLED technology of 8K which is actually the first if its kind.
At the moment, there is no info yet on when the TV will be available in the market or how much it will cost but we expect LG to display it at this year's CES (Consumer Electronics Show), which kicks off Jan. 9 in Las Vegas.
