Motorola Moto Z2 Play to Receive Android 8.0 Oreo Update Soon as Beta Testing Begins
Android OS updates always takes time before they are available for download on most eligible android smartphones and this is mostly because Smartphone manufacturers needs time to port the OS for individual devices and equally check for bugs before they are made available for everyone.
Even though the Android 8 Oreo OS was released a couple of months ago, Motorola happens to be one of the few OEMs that has managed to push out the Oreo update to some of it's devices. The latest Motorola device that actually got the Android 8.0 Oreo update is the Moto Z2 force and report has it that the Moto Z2 play might be next on the line as the beta build is has just been released.
The Moto Z2 Play Oreo beta update is already available to a few selected users in Brazil which is where Motorola tests its new Android update before pushing it out to all users in all other regions. Although there is no official statement from Motorola yet, this is actually a good sign that the final version might be available pretty soon.
For the Motorola Moto Z2 Play users who happens to live in Brazil, you can also go ahead and try the new update out if you will like to get the first hand experience of the Oreo update with the latest January Security patch. Remember that you have to sign up for the beta program before you can download the update and it's 1.13GB in size.
