Airtel 4G LTE Network Now Live in Lagos State Plus Free 4GB Data - How to Get Yours

After the long wait, Airtel finally launched its 4G LTE network in Nigeria last month but it was initially launched for users in Ibadan only. Segun Ogunsanya who is the Managing Director of Airtel Nigeria however ensured Nigerians that the service will be rolled out to other parts of the country.

The good news is that some Airtel users have confirmed that the 4G LTE network is now available in some parts of Lagos. Sales of SIM has also commenced in many Airtel experienced centers in Lagos state.

The Airtel 4G LTE network supports Band 3 (1800MHz) which is a very popular band available on all almost all 4G enabled smartphone. Airtel boasts of 28.45Mbps download speed and 8.77Mbps upload speed. 

The speed is however going to vary depending on your location and network coverage.
