Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Starts Receiving Android 8 Oreo Update

Although Samsung initially released the Android 8 Oreo update for the Galaxy Note 8 back then in February, it didn't take too long before the update was pulled down as they were series of complaints from users concerning unexpected reboots after installing the update.

It however looks like Samsung has finally fixed the bug as reports has it that the update has been resumed once again. The update is starting off in France but it's expected to roll out to all other countries within 2 to 3 weeks time.

The new update doesn't actually feature much aside from some improvements and features such as the picture-in-picture which allows you to have your Google Maps navigation in a small, always-on-top window while doing other stuff on the phone. Or, if you are a YouTube Red subscriber, you can watch clips in picture-in-picture as well.
