PayPal Announces Support for Samsung Pay - How to create a PayPal top-up card within Samsung Pay
Earlier this month, Samsung finally implemented PayPal support for its Samsung Pay service. This is something Samsung has been working on for quite sometime now before finally implementing it this month.
Today, PayPal has also announced that the ability to use its service with Samsung Pay has started rolling out and users can now make payments at retail outlets that accepts the Samsung Pay.
To enjoy this new feature, you will have to load your PayPal account with the debit card or bank account found in your PayPal Wallet for use in-store. Using the payment service will also reward you with Samsung Reward points.
How to Add PayPal Virtual Top-up Card to your Samsung Pay
>> Click on the “+” sign at the top right corner of Samsung Pay home screen.
>> In the “Add payment card section”, Select “Add PayPal”.
>> If you have One Touch enabled, the account will be provisioned. If not, you’ll need to input your account credentials.
>> Click on “Next” and enter a pin for in-store purchases.
>> Select a Debit or bank funding source to top-up the account.
>> Click on “Next” and enter a pin for in-store purchases.
>> Select a Debit or bank funding source to top-up the account.
>> Press “Agree & Continue” and that's all.
PayPal has ensured all users that payment information won't be sent to merchant whenever you make payments in stores. Instead, a virtual account number which represents user's account info will be sent to the company.
