Last month, the official Android 8 Oreo update was rolled out to Honor 7x users. Now, Huawei has started pushing out the Oreo update to Mate SE which is a slightly upgraded version of the Honor 7X. The rollout kicked off this week and it's expected to get to all users in the united states and other countries in the coming weeks.
The update which is almost 2.4GB in size comes with some improvements and new features such as the new floating navigation dock, an updated settings menu, a recycle bin in your gallery, "seamless LinkedIn integration, the ability to link two Bluetooth devices up, and face unlock.
The rollout has already began and since it's been released in batches, it might take a couple of days before it gets to all users. Nonetheless, you can manually check if the update is available for you by heading over to your phone's settings.
