LG G6 Starts Receiving Android 8.0 Oreo Update Globally

LG has officially kicked off the rollout of the Android 8.0 Oreo update for LG G6 users. The update which initially released for South Korean users last month has started making its way to many European countries as well as other regions. 

The update has started rolling out across Europe and the first set of European countries to receive the update are Portugal, Romania, and Latvia.

Although no official ChangeLog has been released yet, the update is expected to come with LG's latest AI features as well as some major improvements and the April security patch.

The unlocked version of the LG G6 will be the first to receive the update before the carrier bound versions. As always, it's advisable you charge your phone and make sure it's connected to a strong network before you proceed with the update.
