Samsung Starts Rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo Update to Galaxy Tab S3
Samsung has already rolled out the Android 8 Oreo update to some of it's eligible devices such as the Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S7 edge and Galaxy A5 (2017). Now, the next Samsung device on the line to receive the Oreo update is the Galaxy Tab S3.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has started receiving the Android 8.0 Oreo update. The update which is starting out for users in the United Kingdom is available Via OTA for both the Wi-Fi and LTE (SM-T820 and SM-T825) versions of the tablet.
The new update is packed with the standard Android 8.0 Oreo features as well as Samsung experience 9.0, support for Dolby sound as well as April security patch.
If you live in the United Kingdom and you haven't received the update notification yet then you can manually check by opening the Settings app, going into the Software update menu, and tapping Download updates manually.
Although there is no information yet as to when the update will be available in other countries but even if you don't live in the UK, you can still try the simple steps above to know if the update is available in your region yet.
