Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Specs Leaks Online Ahead of Official Launch - 5,500 mAh Battery Confirmed
Even though the official launch of the Mi Max 3 is still a few days away, Xiaomi decided to tease its fans with the massive screen and battery capacity of the phablet which are actually the two main selling points of the device. The other specs of the big screen, big battery phablet has however been leaked online ahead of official launch.
The specs which were leaked by chinese media confirms that the Mi Max 3 will come with a 6.9” IPS display with Full HD+ resolution and 18:9 ratio, which means there won't be any display notch. The new 6.9-inch screen is a step up from the 6.44-inch on the max 2, the battery has also been increased from 5300mAh to 5500mAh.
The Mi Max 3 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset with eight Kryo 260 cores which is clocked at 1.8 GHz and it's coupled with a 4GB RAM and a 64GB internal storage. The phablet also sports a dual rear camera setup with a 12 MP main sensor with 1.4µm pixel size and a 5 MP secondary sensor just as it is on the Redmi Note 5.
The device will run on MIUI 9.6 out of the box and this will be based on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo OS. The official launch date of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is on July !9 which is this coming Thursaday. A pro version of the Mi Max 3 with a more powerful processor and a larger RAM will most likely be launched on that day also.
