Nokia 7 Plus will receive the Stable Android 9 Pie Update in September

The Android 9 Pie is here and HMD has already confirmed that all it's Nokia smartphone till date will receive the update sometime in the future. The company has however just announced that the Nokia 7 plus will be getting the Android Pie update by September of this year.

The announcement was made by HMD's Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas at a media even in New Delhi. No specific date was given but Nokia 7 plus users will definitely get the update notification before the end of September.

This will make the Nokia 7 plus the first Snapdragon 660 device and the second non-pixel smartphone after the essential phone  to receive the update. More HMD Nokia smartphones like the Nokia 8 Sirocco, 6.1, and 6.1 Plus are expected to also receive the Android 9 Pie update before the end of the year.
