Xiaomi's Poco F1 Officially Announced - Full Specification and Price in India, France, Europe, Nigeria

Xiaomi has always been known for producing some of the most affordable smartphones in the market today with top notch specs. Now the company has just taken this value for money campaign to a whole new level by introducing a new sub brand which is called Pocophone or Poco. The aim of Poco is to provide customers with some of the fastest and most efficient phones in the market at the most affordable rate.

Xiaomi has kicked off the Poco sub-brand with the Poco F1. The new Poco F1 is the first smartphone released by the new sub-brand and its equally the cheapest Snapdragon 845 smartphone available in the market today. This is suppose to be a contender with the OnePlus 6 which is a bit more expensive. The device features a 6.18-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, and 18.7:9 aspect ratio.

The Poco F1 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with either a 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage or the premium "Armored Edition" with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. THe Poco F1 also comes with an impressive 4000mAh battery.

In terms of camera, the Poco F1 features a dual rear-camera setup with primary 12MP f/1.9 Sony IMX363 sensor and secondary 5MP sensor, it also comes with a 20MP f/2.0 front-facing camera with facial recognition The rear mounted fingerprint scanner is positioned right below the dual rear camera modules. It features Bluetooth 5.0 LE, dual-SIM support and dual-4G standby.

The Poco F1 will be available in India starting from 29 August. While the Indonesia, Hong Kong and France market will get it starting from 27 August. The 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage model is priced at Rs. 20,999 (~S$410) while the 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage model is priced at Rs. 23,999 (~S$469). The 8GB RAM/256GB internal storage model, which is marketed as the Armored Edition, will cost you Rs. 28,999 (S$566).
