Instagram users will soon be able to tag friends in videos

Instagram is currently testing a new feature which will allow it's users to tag friends in a video post. This will work almost like the photo tagging but unlike the photo tagging that shows the list of tagged names once you click on the small icon on the bottom left, the video tagging will feature a different icon which redirects you to a new page titled “People in this Video”.

For now, these tagged videos will not appear on the tagged user's profile just like photo tagging does but since this feature is still in development, this could change before it's been rolled out to all users.

The Instagram's videos sharing feature is currently being tested on the mobile version only and not available on the web version. There is no information yet on when this feature will be available for all users but we expect it to start rolling out to everyone soon.
