Skype Call Recording now available for Android and iOS users
After over 10 years of adding the video calling feature, Skype has decided to up things a little bit by giving users the option to record thier video calls. The new video call recording has already started rolling out to compatible Android and iPhones.
According to Microsoft, the Skype video call recording is cloud based. Once you start recording a video call, everyone in the conversation will be notified that they are being recorded and Skype will record everyone’s video as well as any screens shared during the call.
Once you end the call, everyone in the conversation can choose to download an offline copy as well as share it with others. The recorded video call will be available on Microsoft's server for downloading and sharing for 30days.
How to Record a Skype Video Call
For Desktop:
=> Just click on the "+" sign at the bottom of the screen
=> Then select start recording.
For Android and iPhone:
=> Click on the "+" sign at the bottom of the screen.
=> Then choose start recording.
The new feature is already available on the latest version of Skype for Android and iOS. It's expected to roll out to Windows desktop users "in the coming months".
