UBA's Leo Officially Launched on WhatsApp - Transfer Funds and Perform all other Transactions through WhatsApp

A couple of months ago, UBA launched Leo which is it's AI virtual banking assistant to help users open an account, check balance, transfer funds and perform other transactions easily. UBA's Leo has gone through a lot of improvements over time and the virtual banking assistant is not available on WhatsApp.

UBA has now launched Leo on WhatsApp to enable it's customers perform basic banking services like checking their balances on the go, transferring funds, paying bills, among other services just by chatting with the virtual assistant.

Setting up Leo on WhatsApp is pretty easy and straightforward. Just follow the instructions below.

How to Setup UBA's Leo on WhatsApp

>> Add the Leo's WhatsApp number to your contact +234 903 000 2455.

>> Open your WhatsApp and send a message to Leo. E.g "Hello".

>> You will get a reply almost immediately, just type "1" to accept.

>> Click on the secure link sent to you.

>> Input your account number in provided box and click on submit.

>> After that, go back to the WhatsApp chat.

>> A "One Time Password" (OTP) will be sent to you via text.

>> Input the OTP in the chat and send.

>> If the OTP is accepted, you will be asked to type  "1" for menu or "0" to exit.

>> Just type "1" to continue.

>> On the next screen, just select the corresponding number, depending on the transaction you will like to perform.
