Huawei Mate 10 Pro Starts Receiving Android 9.0 Pie Update

Huawei has started rolling out the Android 9.0 Pie update for the Mate 10 Pro. The update which has the latest EMUI 9.0 under the skin is currently being pushed out to the BLA-L09 and BLA-L29 versions of the phone which are actually the European version.

The update which comes with the build number BLA-L09C432E4R1P8B108 and BLA-L29C432E4R1P8B108 is packed with a couple of new features such as the new gesture mode for multitasking and a newly improved GPU turbo 2.0.

It also comes with the standard Android 9.0 Pie features such as New Quick Settings UI design, Redesigned volume slider, Advanced Battery with AI Support, Notch Support, Improved Adaptive Brightness, Manual theme selection, Android Dashboard which Google calls Digital Wellbeing, and more other features.

The update is still in beta mode and not a stable version yet,  so users might experience a few bugs. It's also being rolled out in phases with the European market being the first to receive the update, but it's expected to roll out globally and to all users soon.
