Render images of the 2019 Apple iPhone XI shows three rear camera setup
Even though it's just the start of a new year which means the launch of a new iPhone is still months away, we already have an early rendered leak of what seems to be the upcoming iPhone XI. The render was leaked online by a reliable Twitter leakster who goes by the handle @onleaks.
Going by the leak, the upcoming high end iPhone models might be equipped with triple rear camera setup. The image shows two vertically aligned camera lens like on the iPhone Xs models and a third lens placed on the right side just below the flash led.
Earlier reports has it that Apple is working on implementing a Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera on the future iPhone models which could be used to create 3D models. So it won't be a surprise if the third lens on the render is used for that purpose.
Apple won't be launching new iPhone models until the third quarter of the year which is still like nine months away. So the rendered image above will most likely go though series of design changes before the final version is released.
