Just 3 days after the last beta update, Samsung has started rolling out the stable Android 9 Pie update for its Galaxy Note 9. The device which was launched in 2017 with Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box is now receiving it's second major OS update.
The update which comes with the software version N950FXXU5DSB2 is currently being rolled out in batches starting with countries like Bulgaria and Slovakia. The update is however expected to roll out to other regions in the coming weeks.
The new Android Pie update for the Galaxy Note 8 comes with the standard pie features, enhanced performance, improved stability and the latest February security patch. Incase you didn't receive the update notification, you can manually check by going to your phone settings, tap Software update, then tap the Download and install option (for those on Oreo, this option is called Download updates manually).
