Energizer Power Max P18K Pop officially announced with 18,000mAh Battery and Triple Rear Camera

While most smartphone manufacturers are going for slimmer and lighter phone designs, a company called Energizer have decided to go the other way round by focusing more on battery rather than aesthetics on its new Energizer Power Max P18K Pop smartphone. The phone which is 18mm thick comes with a very large battery to complement for its huge size.

The phone is equipped with a 6.2-Inch IPS display which features a resolution of 2280x1080 pixel. It is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P70 chipset with 4 Arm Cortex-73 and 4 Arm Cortex-A53. It also comes with Arm Mali G72-MP3 GPU. You can get the phone in just one memory configuration which is 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The P18K pop spots a triple rear camera setup with 12-megapixel primary camera, a second 5-megapixel camera and a third 2-megapixel camera. It also features a dual front facing pop-up camera with a main 16MP sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone runs on the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box.

The main selling point of the Energizer Power Max P18K Pop is it's massive 18,000mAh battery which the company claims can get you up to 4 days of music playback (non-stop), 2 days of video or up to 50 days of standby. It comes with a 2.0 quick charging support at 18W, via the Type-C port.

The P18K pop supports dual SIM dual standby with 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. It's worth noting that even with the huge size, the P18K pop doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone is expected to go on sale soon at a starting price of €599.
