Nokia 3.1 Plus now receiving Android 9 Pie Update
Finally, the Nokia 3.1 plus have joined the list of HMD's Nokia smartphones running on the latest Android 9 Pie. The update is coming a bit latter than scheduled but it's better late than never.
According to a tweet by HMD's chief production officer Juho Sarvikas, it reads:
"The wait is over! Get ready to feast on a sweeter smartphone experience with Android 9 Pie on Nokia 3.1 Plus. Nokia smartphones get smarter with time #GetSmart #Nokiamobile"
The new update comes with the standard android pie features which includes the new gesture UI, Predictive Application Actions, the Adaptive Battery and Adaptive screen brightness. The update also comes with the February 2019 security patch.
The Nokia 3.1 plus which was launched in October of last year now joins the likes of the Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 which got the Android Pie update last week, as well as the Nokia 5 which got it in late January, and the Nokia 8 Sirocco which got it in early January.
