Early Huawei Mate 30 Pro leaked Specs shows larger display, more cameras and faster charging
Even though the P30 series is just about two months old and the Mate 30 pro is still a couple of months away from its official launch, we already have an early leak on what to expect from the upcoming Huawei flagship.
This is still a very early look so the information shouldn't be taking too serious yet. According to the leaker, the upcoming Mate 30 pro will feature a couple of improvements over last year's Mate 20 pro in aspects like screen size, fingerprint and camera.
The device is rumoured to come with a 6.71-inch curved AMOLED display which will be manufactured by BOE. This is larger than the 6.41-inch display found on Mate 20 pro. It will also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, but there is no information yet if it will still be the optical or ultrasonic scanner.
Under the hood will be Huawei's next-generation 7nm Kirin 985 chipset powering the Mate 30 pro. There will be a regular 4G model of this phone and there will also be a special version with a 5G modem.
As an upgrade from the three camera module on the Mate 20 pro, the Mate 30 pro will come with 4 rear camera setup arranged in a large square-shape with the flash in the middle. Just like on the P20 pro, the sensors will most likely be used for ultra-wide angle, regular, telephoto and 3D ToF setup.
The phone will come with a pretty large 4,200mAh battery and support for Huawei’s new 55W SuperCharge technology as well as wireless charging. It will also support reverse wireless charging of up to 10W which is double of the previous 5W support.
