Twitter users can now add photos, GIFs and videos to retweets

Before now, twitter has always given users the option to add comment when retweeting other people's tweet but this has always been limited to just text comment only, which means users can't add images, GIFs or videos to comments when retweeting.
That is however changing now as Twitter just announced in a recent tweet that users will be able to add media files to retweets. Twitter will now allow users to add photo, video or GIF to a Retweet, instead of only text. The feature is now live on iOS, Android and Twitter’s mobile website.

The feature is very easy to use, just click on the retweet icon at the bottom of the post you want to retweet, select "retweet with comment" and add any photo or other media file you want to add to your comment.

In other to make sure that retweets with media files don't appear too disruptive, Twitter will display the retweet and the attached media file in full size while the original tweet and the author's avatar will appear in a small box. Even though this is just a small upgrade, it will definitely have an impact how we retweet and improve general twitter experience.
