Huawei starts rolling out Android 9 Pie based EMUI 9.1 to 10 more smartphones
A few months ago, Huawei published a list of smartphones and tablets that will be updated to it's latest EMUI 9.1 which is based on the Android 9 Pie.
Some of Huawei's smartphones have already received the update and now 10 more devices are getting updated to the latest EMUI 9.1.
The list of Huawei devices that are currently getting the update are
Huawei Mate 10
Mate 10 Pro
Mate 10 Porsche Design
Mate RS Porsche Design
P20
P20 Pro
nova 3
Honor 10
Honor V10
Honor Play
The new update includes EROFS file system, which will give about 20 percent improvement to the read and write performance of the flash memory, the new file system will also free up to 2GB of storage space after the update by improving the file compression.
The update also comes with GPU Turbo 3.0 which is targeted at gamers by giving them a better gaming experience and a longer battery life during gaming. At the moment, the update is being rolled out to users in China and there is no news yet on when international users will receive the update.
