LG starts rolling out Android 9.0 Pie update to the LG V30
Even though Google is just about a month away from releasing the stable Android Q, some manufacturers are yet to update some of their eligible devices to last year's Android Pie and one of them is LG with its V30.
LG has however finally started rolling out the stable Android 9 Pie update to last year's flagship device, the V30. The update is currently available in some European countries like Germany, Spain, France, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Sweden, and the UK. It's expected to roll out to other regions in the coming weeks.
The update comes with the July Android security patch as well as other features like screen recorder, new notification animations and notification light ring for Always-On Display. The update is currently being rolled out via OTA, bit incase you haven't received it yet, you can either wait or download and install LG Bridge on your PC and upgrade your LG V30 by connecting the phone to your desktop.
