Glo 4G LTE network now supports frequency band 3(1800 MHz)
Glo has some of the most affordable data plans in Nigeria but the biggest problem with the network provider has always being its poor network. Few years ago, Glo rolled out its 4G LTE network with the hope of solving some of its network issues but it decided to go with the not so popular band 28(700mHz).
The problem with the band 28 is that it is found mainly on high smartphones and since most Nigerians uses Midrange and entry-level smartphones, only a few number of people were able to enjoy the Glo 4G network. The Telco has however now solved this issue by adding one more band which is the band 3(1800MHz).
Unlike the band 28, the new band 3 can be found on almost all 4G enabled smartphones, which means that almost everyone can now enjoy the Glo 4G network as long as there is Glo 4G network in your location.
As i mentioned at the beginning of this post, Glo has some of the cheapest data plans and one of them is the Glo Oga SIM Data offer which gives you 1.8GB data for N500,
3.6GB for N1,000, 8.26GB for N2,000 12.9GB for N2500 and many more. You can read more on the Glo Oga Sim data offer by clicking on this LINK.
