HTC U11+ starts receiving Android 9 Pie update in India and other countries
HTC started rolling out the stable Android 9.0 pie update for the HTC U11+ in Taiwan earlier this month. The update has however been expanded to other regions and now users in India have started receiving the update.
The update which comes with the version number 2.19.400.2 is 1.37GB in size, so it's advisable to make sure you have enough free space before your download or install the update.
The update comes with the July 1, 2019 Android security patch. The update also includes a couple of new features as well as some major improvements. The discontinued Google+ has also been removed from BlinkFeed.
The Android Pie update for HTC U11+ is being rolled out in batches so it might take some time before everyone receives the update. It's advisable you fully charge or connect your phone to a power source and also make sure you are connected to a strong WiFi network before downloading the update.
