Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 launched with Quadruple rear camera, Full specifications and price in Nigeria India Europe
Xiaomi's sub brand Redmi has just added a new device to its Note series and it's called the Redmi note 8. The device is the successor to the Redmi Note 7 which was launched earlier this year.
The note 8 still uses an IPS LCD display just like it's predecessor. It has a 6.39-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080x2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It also has a Corning Gorilla glass 5 protecting the display and a water drop notch.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset with an octa-core processor. It is coupled with a 6GB or 8GB RAM as well as a 64GB or 128GB internal storage.
The Note 8 is packed with a Quad rear camera setup which includes a primary 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 2MP depth sensor, 8MP 120-degree Ultra Wide lens, and 2MP Macro lens. On the front of the phone is a single 13MP selfie shooter.
The Note 8 still retains the same 4,000mAh battery as on the Note 7 with USB Type C and an 18W fast charging support. The also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and the fingerprint scanner is positioned on the back.
The phone will be available in Black, White, and Dream Blue colour options. The base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage will sell for N51,000 (CNY999/$140/€125), the 6/64 GB model will go for N60,000 (CNY1,199/$167/€150) and the more premium 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option will be available for N70,000 (CNY1,399/$195/€175). The phone will be available for purchase starting from next month September.
