Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Full Specifications and price in India, Nigeria, Europe

Xiaomi has just unveiled the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro. This is the more expensive and better specced version of the two Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 series devices which were recently launched in China. The phone comes with a quadruple rear camera setup and it's the first smartphone with a 64MP camera. It is also the first smartphone to be powered by Mediatek's Helio G90T chipset.

The phone sports a 6.53 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a screen ratio of 19.5:9 and a pixel density of 395 ppi. It also runs on Xiaomi's MIUI Android skin which is based on Android 9.0 Pie.

Under the hood of the Redmi Note 8 Pro is Mediatek Helio G90T chipset with an octa-core processor with 2x Cortex-A76 and 6x Cortex-A55. The phone also comes in a 6GB or 8GB RAM configuration as well as 64GB or 128GB expandable internal storage.

The camera is one of the main selling points of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro as it's packed with 4 rear cameras which consists of a primary 64MP camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP macro lens. In the front of the device is a single 20MP camera with AI features and scene recognition options.

The phone is packed with a large 4,500mAh battery with QC 4.0 quick charge support of up to 18W.  It also comes with a rear mounted fingerprint reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The phone is available in Black, Green, and White colour options.As far as pricing goes, the Redmi Note 8 Pro will start at CNY1,399 ($195/€175) for the 6/64 GB model while the more expensive 8/128GB model will be priced at CNY1,799 ($250/€225). It is currently available in China and nationwide launch is expected to happen soon.
