Xiaomi Redmi K30 full specifications and price in Nigeria, India, Kenya, Europe

The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Series (also known as the Mi 9T) is Xiaomi's flagship killer for 2019 featuring flagship specs at a killer price. Six months down the line and Xiaomi has just launched the successor to the Redmi K20 which is called the Redmi K30 and the 5G variant which is the Redmi K30 5G.

The Redmi K30 sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 1080 X 2400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It also comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz which makes it the first Redmi or Xiaomi phone to come with it.

Powering the Redmi K30 is Qualcomm's higher mid range Snapdragon 730G chipset coupled with Adreno 618 GPU. It also runs on Xiaomi's MIUI 11 out of the box which is based on Google's latest Android 10 operating system. You can either get the phone with a 6GB or 8GB RAM. The internal storage also goes from 64GB to 256GB which can be expanded through a micro sdcard which uses the hybrid SIM 2 slot.

The rear camera of the Redmi K30 is a quad setup which comprises of a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel lens as the primary sensor, an 8-megapixel 120-degree ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel super macro lens with 2cm focal length and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In the front is a 20MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

The device comes with a 4500mAh battery and 27W fast charging with the charger included in the box. The Redmi K30 is already available for pre-order in China and expected to roll out to other regions soon. The phone starts at 1,599 Yuan ($228) for the 4GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant, the 6/64GB variant goes for 1,699 Yuan ($240), the 8/128GB goes for 1,899 Yuan ($270) while the more premium 8/256GB sells for 2,199 Yuan ($312). The phone is available in Blue, Red, and Purple colour options.
