PocoPhone F1 (Beryllium) starts receiving stable Android 10 update (MIUI 11.0.4.0QEJMIXM)
Even though Pocophone is now an independent brand and no more a part of the Xiaomi smartphone brand, the initial Poco F1 (Codename: Beryllium) runs on Xiaomi's MIUI OS which means Xiaomi is still responsible for the updates.
The Poco F1 was launched in 2018 with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and later updated to Android 9.0 Pie in 2019. There have been words that the phone will eventually get its second major update which is the Android 10 and now, the update has started rolling out.
The new Android 10 update for Poco F1 is included in the latest MIUI 11 update which is the version 11.0.4.0QEJMIXM. The update also includes the latest January Android security patch as well as a few bug fixes and major improvements.
The OTA update has already started rolling out and it is around 1.9GB in size. You will get the update even if you are on stable MIUI 10 or Beta MIUI 11. To enable Face Unlock in this new update, you will have to select either "India" or "Hong Kong" as your Region.
