Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro (Begonia) starts receiving Android 10 based MIUI 11 Update
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro (codename: Begonia) was launched late last year with the MIUI 10 based on the Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
Even though the Redmi Note 8 Pro has received the miui 11 update which is the latest iteration of Xiaomi's custom Android skin, the update is still based on the Android 9.0 Pie, except for the China region that has gotten the Android 10 based MIUI 11.
Now, the Android 10 MIUI 11 update for the Redmi Note 8 Pro has finally started rolling out to users outside of China. As at now, Redmi Note 8 Pro - Begonia users in Pakistan have already started receiving the new Android 10 based MIUI 11 update.
The update which has the build number MIUI 11.0.2.0 QGGEUXM, weighs in at around 1.9GB. It come with the February 2020 Android security patch as well as increased system security.
There is no Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for other countries yet, but the update is expected to roll out to all regions very soon.
