Nokia 8 Sirocco starts receiving Android 10 update

Even with the recent Pandemic slowing down a whole lot of activities worldwide, it has not stopped HMD's Nokia from rolling out the latest Android 10 update to its eligible devices. Earlier this month, the Android 10 update was rolled out to the Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 and now it has started rolling out to the Nokia 8 Sirocco.

Juho Sarvikas who happens to be HMD chief product officer announces on his official twitter handle that the Android 10 update for Nokia 8 Sirocco has started rolling out. The new update is about 1.4GB in size and it has the software version V5.120. 

The new update comes with the latest April Android security patch and it also includes some of the Android 10 new features like the new User Interface, system wide dark mode, Smart Reply, new gesture navigation, and new controls for location and privacy.

At the moment, the update is currently rolling out to 35 countries and HMD has confirmed that 10% of the market will get the update today. It is however expected to hit more countries pretty soon.
