Nokia 3.1 Plus now receiving Android 10 update
When HMD released the first Android powered Nokia smartphone back in 2017, one of the promises the company made was that it will provide software updates for all its devices and it has been keeping to that promise.
The Nokia 3.1 Plus is the latest Nokia smartphone from HMD to receive the latest Android 10 software update. The phone was launched back in January of 2019 with the Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, so this is the first major update that the device will be receiving.
Android powered Nokia smartphones runs on stock Android OS and this is the main reason why it's a lot more easier for the company to easily port and push out new Android updates to its devices unlike other smartphone brands that runs on custom version of Android.
At the moment, the update is only available in 38 countries which are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, Cambodia, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, Georgia, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Lebanon, Libya, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
The second wave of the update will begin rolling out for other countries once all the countries listed above receives the update.
