How to download and install Android 11 Beta on Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro

The fastboot version of the Android 11 Beta 1 has just being released for the Xiaomi Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro. Going by the initial announcement by Xiaomi, three devices are expected to receive this update, which means the Poco F2 Pro users will still have  to wait  a little bit longer for the update.

If you happen to be a Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro user and you want to try out the Android 11 update, then this post is for you as I will be showing you a fully detailed guide on how to install the Android 11 beta on your smartphone.

Just keep it in mind that this version is not very stable and might contain some bugs. So it is not advisable to install this ROM on your phone if you use it as your daily driver. Also make sure you backup all of your important data before you proceed with the update.

Note: This is an early beta build and might brick your phone. Make sure you backup your phone and also follow the instructions carefully as XiaomiAuthority won't be held responsible for any damage that happens to your phone.

How to Install Android 11 Beta on Xiaomi Mi 10

• Make sure your phone's bootloader is unlocked or follow the instructions above.
• Download the adb tools and install.
• Download the Mi Flash Tool and extract it on your PC.
• Open the extracted folder and double click on XiaoMiFlash.exe to open.
• Turn off your phone and reboot into Download mode by holding down the Power and Volume Down buttons together.
• connect your phone to the PC.
• Download and extract the fastboot ROM (Make sure you remember the location you extracted it to).
• Click on select on the MiFlash tool and select the extracted fastboot ROM or copy the address of the extracted fastboot folder and paste it in the provided address bar in Mi Flash tool.
• Click on refesh on MiFlash tool and click on Flash.
• Once the process completes and the progress bar turns to green, your phone will automatically reboot.
• That is all.
