Stable Google Android 11 update now available for Pixel, OnePlus, Xiaomi, ZenFone and Oppo phones

It's been over a year since Google realesed the Android 10, and now after months of beta testing the Android 11, Google has now started rolling out the stable update to all of its eligible devices which are the Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.
Aside Google's own pixel phones, other brands are also already releasing the update for some of their eligible devices like OnePlus with the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, ZenFone with the ZenFone 6, Oppo with the Find X2 and Find X2 Pro, as well as Xioami with its own Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Poco F2 Pro.

Just like other older versions of Android, the new Android 11 comes with a whole lot of improvements and new features. One of which is the Privacy option which will allow users to  grant apps one-time permission to use the Microphone, Camera and location access.

The Android 11 now also includes native built in Screen recorder which will allow users to record the live activity on the screen with audio output from either the device sound or microphone.

Pixel 2 XL users who are already on the beta version of Android 11 will download just a 9.47MB update while others will have to download an update of 1.3GB. The update is already live, so you can go ahead and check your phone settings for the OTA update by heading over to Settings > System > Advanced > System update.
