Samsung Galaxy S20 series starts receiving Android 11 based One UI 3.0
Samsung has now officially joined the list of Android smartphone manufacturers rolling out the stable Android 11 update for some of its eligible devices. Companies like Google, OnePlus and Xiaomi have already started rolling out this update to some of their devices and Sony is expected to join soon.
The new One UI 3.0 is based on the latest Google Android 11 and at the moment, the update is currently rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S20 series. Apart from all the standard Android 11 features, the update also comes with some OneUI exclusive features.
This new One UI 3.0 comes with a newly redesigned user interface with more emphasis on customisation, such as option to reduce opacity of home screen widgets. You also can now have more info and options on the lock screen widgets like pausing or changing music, checking current Todo list and more.
There are many more features included in the One UI 3.0 update like more shortcut customisation options, a better wellbeing app, better camera app with some AI features and many more.
At the moment, the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update is currently rolling out to Galaxy S20 devices in South Korea, US and a couple of European countries. More regions and devices will also be getting the update soon.
