- Go to Settings > Face ID&Passcode.
- Toggle on the unlock with apple watch option.
- Put on your Apple Watch with watchOS 7.4 and wrist detection on.
- Unlock your Apple Watch and enable passcode.
- Make sure you have a mask on and let Face ID detect it.
- The Apple Watch will vibrate, notifying you that it has authenticated an iPhone unlock.

Keep in mind that this feature will only work when your simply want to unlock your smartphone. 6ou will still need to take off your mask to authorize Apple Pay purchases, credit card information in Safari, or any such sensitive request.
