Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Launched - Full Specification and Price in Nigeria, USA, Europe

 Samsung just held its latest Unpack Event few days ago, and at the event, a couple of new products were announced, one of which is the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. The Galaxy Z fold 3 is the third generation of Samsung's Galaxy Fold lineup. The device comes with a couple of new changes like support for S Pen, Under display Camera and more.


The main screen on the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with a 7.6 inches Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 1768 x 2208 pixels and a pixel density of 374 ppi and also 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, while the cover screen features a 6.2 inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and a resolution of 832 x 2268 pixels.

Powering the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is Qualcomm's 5nm Snapdragon 888 chipset with the Adreno 660 GPU. The chipset also supports both the Sub6 and mmWave 5G. In terms of memory, the devices is packed with 12GB RAM and UFS 3.1 storage of 256GB or 512GB option. It also runs on the latest Android 11 based One UI 3.5 out of the box.


The camera setup on this new device is pretty similar to the previous Generation except for the downgraded inner camera. Instead of the hole punch like on the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Samsung has rather opted for the Under Screen Camera (UDC) technology for the 4 Mega Pixels inner camera sensor on the new Galaxy Z Fold 3.

The front facing camera is however still a punch hole 10MP sensor. While on the back is a triple camera setup with a primary 12 MP f/1.8 sensor with OIS, a 12 MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom and OIS and a 12 MP ultrawide lens.

In terms of battery, the device packs a 4,400mAh battery capacity which is less than the 4500mAh on the predecessor. The device still keeps the 25W wired charging, 11W wireless charging and a 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

The phone is available in Phantom Black, Phantom Green, and Phantom Silver colour options. It ism already available for preorder and sales is expected to commence on August 27. The starting price for the 256GB model is Prices start at $1,799 / £1,599 / N800,000, while the 512GB model goes for $1,899 / £1,699 / N930,000.
