Xiaomi to launch the Mi 12 Ultra with 120W fast charging and smaller battery
In 2020, Xioami launched its top of the line flagship which was the Mi 10 Ultra with a ridiculous charging speed of up to 120W which made it the first phone to support that charging speed. It also came with support for up to 50W wireless fast charging.
In 2021 however, Xioami reduced the charging speed on the successor Mi 11 Ultra to 67W while the wireless charging speed was however increased to 67W. The battery capacity also increased from 4500mAh on the Mi 10 Ultra to 5000mAh on the Mi 11 Ultra.
It's another year for launch of Xioami's newest flagship which will most likely be called the Mi 12 Ultra. Even though we don't have official specs yet, latest rumours has it that Xioami might be bringing back the 120W fast charging on the upcoming Mi 12 Ultra.
The battery and wireless fast charging speed has however been slightly reduced from what it was on the Mi 11 Ultra to 4860mAh and 50W respectively.
Some other rumours and speculations we have at the moment includes expected 1440p+ Samsung AMOLED display panel with a high refresh rate and the camera is expected to feature a large 50 MP main sensor, a 48 MP ultra wide lens and 48 MP telephoto periscope lens.
Keep in mind that all this are still rumours and should be taking with a pinch of salt. There is no official details from Xioami yet on the specs, pricing, launch or availability of the Mi 12 series.
