Xiaomi Mi Band 7 launched with Always On Display (AOD) and Blood level Tracker at $37
After much anticipation, rumours and speculations, Xiaomi has finally launched the latest version of it Mi band wearables and its known as the Mi band 7. This new Mi band 7 has much larger display than its predecessor. It also comes with more sport modes and now offers an SpO2 sensor to help track blood oxygen levels.
The new Mi band 7 features a 1.62-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 490×192, and also Always On Display (AOD). It also comes with 120 different sports modes, over 100 new watch faces. It also has water resistance of up to 50 meters.
The Mi Band 7 has also gotten a couple of improvements in terms of health monitoring aspect with its newly improved all-day blood oxygen level tracker, which helps monitor user's SpO2 level throughout the day and send alerts whenever it falls below the normal level.
The band also comes with a larger 180mAh battery compared to the 125mAh on its predecessor and Xiaomi claims it will offer up to 15 days of battery life without calls or any advanced feature turned on. The company also claims the band can charger from 0 to 100% in just 2 hours.
The Pre-order for the Mi band 7 is already on in China at a starting price of CNY 299 ($44) for the NFC version, while the non-NFC version is going for CNY 249 ($37). Those preordering earlier will however get the discounted price of CNY 279 ($42) for the NFC and CNY 239 ($36) for the non-NFC version. There is no date yet on when the MI band 7 will be available globally but we expect it within the coming month.
